Kodaikanal-Weekend Escapade

How did we get there: By Road from Bangalore. Took us around 7 hours to get there (Left late in the afternoon...could not manage to wake up in the morning).
Route: Bangalore-Hosur-(NH7)-Salem-Erode-Dharapuram-Dindigul-Palani-Kodaikanal
Road Conditions: Very good !! Toll Roads so keep change handy.

Only grouse: Hardly any good places on the highway to stop in between to grab a bite

Accomodation : Zest (Next to Coaker's Walk) . Very nice place...awesome view. They also organize lots of fun activities and short trips.Food was just average...instead try out a few local cafes and restaurants.

Lots of flowers and plants around...so went click click click

Don't fall for the several view points on the travel brochures (there are way too many of those) .After you have been to the few view points it gets boring. Instead walk around and Enjoy.

( Please don't throw plastic wrappers and bottles around.There are lots of bins around for this purpose.Little walk in such good weather looking for one won't hurt either ;-) )
